J anuary is always an interesting month. Hopes are high, New Years resolutions are in full swing, and everyone seems to be taking stock and considering what’s next.
Some of us went to a conference this weekend that was pretty terrible. The whole thing was a huge sales pitch for the guy putting it on. We took notes when we could and made the best out of the situation, but ultimately the whole thing was a huge disappointment. We felt totally used and ripped off and it just wasn’t great.
Ultimately, the conference made us look at our goals and take inventory of what we’re working on. We left the conference with a clear conviction to work on more than just closing deals. We hope that none of our clients, partners, or vendors feel like hearing from us is one huge sales pitch. We want to provide value, and build trust. We want to educate and keep people informed on things they actually want to be informed on.
We want to work with people we enjoy, and we want our clients to enjoy working with us.
